Week 2 – August 19 – 23, 2019
First Booster Meeting
Home Football vs. Wilson
Friday Afternoon Rehearsal/Spaghetti Dinner

Monday – Make sure to wear workout clothes! No JEANS! Wear Tennis Shoes
Bring Water Jugs for Period 7 this week
1 – Inside with warm ups/pep tunes and closer
Lunch – Testing and sectionals on the closer
7 – Outside with opener without met

Tuesday
1 – Outside running show without met
Lunch – Testing and sectionals on the closer
2:45 to 5:00 PM – Percussion Rehearsal with Harry and Nico

7:00 – Band Booster Meeting in room 805

Wednesday – Bring Water Jug!
1 – Warm Up inside, then test on the closer to measure 33 with met @116 bpm for a grade
Lunch – Testing and sectionals on the closer
7 – Ballad standing without met/run show

Thursday – First Home Football Game vs. Wilson at Ron Yary Stadium
1 – Outside with Pre Game/Show – Load Trailer
Lunch – No Practice today
2:30 – Pick up your instruments afterschool. The room will close at 3:15!
5:15 – Arrive at Ron Yary Stadium ON YOUR OWN – Bellflower HS 1801 S. Mc Nab Ave, Bellflower 90706, wearing band shirt and dark shorts, tennis shoes. Bring your water jugs, make sure you have eaten dinner. Unload trailers and move to a parade block on their basketball court. If your parents sign up to work the event, they are free (see SignUp Genius here). If your parents want to go watch the game here are the costs:
General Admission – $8.00
Seniors 55 and older – $6.00
4 – 13 years of age – $4.00
3 and Under – Free
6:40 PM – Block it up on track for Parade March and pregame
7:00 PM – Game begins
8:00 – We perform our halftime show
You get 3rd quarter off. I will let you know how all that works, you can buy food from snack bar.
9:15 – Game Over – Have your parents pick you up.

Friday – Welcome Back Assembly, afternoon rehearsal and Spaghetti Dinner
1 – Unload, warm up, pep tunes
2 – Assemblies
3 – Middle School Assembly
7 – Ballad Drill/no horns
5:00 – Have your parents meet you at the MPB for the Spaghetti Dinner. Please turn in your donated food items and baskets by Thursday in the morning. Everyone is required to sell two tickets. To volunteer, see SignUp Genius here.
