A few changes were made to the calendar. Please take note:
1) The Booster Meeting that was on 9/17 was moved to 9/24 due to Back to School Night.
2) The home game that was on 9/19 is now an away game on 9/20.
3) We’re going to Disneyland on 1/17!

Week 3 – August 26 – 31, 2019
Home Football vs. Lakewood

Monday – Make sure to wear workout clothes and tennis shoes! No JEANS! Bring Water Jugs! Put your name on YOUR water jug.
1 – Inside with warm ups – parade march 59 – 90 and closer 34 – 70
Lunch – Testing and sectionals on the closer and parade march on those sections.
7 – Ballad – relearn new drill with props, block it with music

Tuesday
1 – Outside with ballad drill and props
Lunch – Testing and sectionals on the closer and parade march
2:45 to 5:00 PM – Percussion Rehearsal with Harry and Nico
and testing with Mr. Philips on the parade march and closer

Wednesday – Bring Water Jug!
1 – OUTSIDE today with opener drill
Lunch – Testing and sectionals on the parade march and closer
7 – Work on opener and ballad with props and no met – Run Show

Thursday – Home Football Game vs. Lakewood at Ron Yary Stadium
1 – Outside with Pre Game/Show – Load Trailer
Lunch – No Practice today
2:30 – Pick up your instruments afterschool. The room will close at 3:15!
5:15 – Arrive at Ron Yary Stadium ON YOUR OWN – wearing band shirt and dark shorts, tennis shoes. Bring your water jugs and make sure you have eaten dinner. Unload trailers and move to a parade block by the trailers
6:10 – Go watch Bellflower run their opener – be a great audience!
6:30 – Restrooms – block it up
6:45 – Pregame with parade march up to bar 90 now…

If your parents want to go watch the game here are the costs:
General Admission – $8.00
Seniors 55 and older – $6.00
4 – 13 years of age – $4.00
3 and Under – Free

7:00 PM – Game begins
8:00 – We perform our halftime show, pit packs up trailer after halftime.
9:30 – Game Over – Have your parents pick you up.

Friday –
1 – Unload trailers, homework and testing on march/closer – last day to test for an “A.”
3pm-8pm – Dining for Dollars at Yogurtland! (click here for flyer)
