Itinerary
“Were Going to Disneyland!”

Wednesday –
1 – Outside with Parade Block – wear tennis shoes 
Lunch and after school – Students must play all 12 major scales memorized to go to Disneyland.  You can test the ones you missed one at a time by memory.  All testing must be done by the end of the day.
7th period 2:45 to 4:30 PM – Wind Ensemble has begun. This is our auditioned class concert band class.  It will meet on all Mondays and Wednesdays. 

Thursday –
1 – Outside with Parade Block – wear tennis shoes

Friday – Disneyland!
6:15 AM – Arrive at MHS to load the bus – Wear your band shirts! Bring warm clothes to change into for later.

Long Black Socks
White Gloves
All of these items and every instrument are going to be stored on the trailers before we leave.
Money to eat lunch and dinner in the park – about $15.00 PER meal.  Bring extra money for snacks and souvenirs!
6:30 AM – Depart MHS for Disneyland
7:00 AM – Get on trams to meet at GROUP SALES WINDOW
8:00 AM – Park opens – Get into park to ride new Guardians of the Galaxy ride!  Be one of the first to get on this ride on its first day! TIP: Download the Disney app to get in the “virtual cue”. Click here for more information.

3:00 PM – Group Meets in Esplanade in front of main entrance to Disneyland.  We are dressing in California Adventure Park.  (WE ARE NOT MEETING IN TOON TOWN)!!!  Eat lunch long before we gather! Also, go to the restroom before we meet up…there are no restrooms in the dressing room area. Yes, really!!!  Again, NO restrooms…

Once we go backstage, you cannot take pictures…put your phones away.  You will receive explicit instructions from the Disney staff and from me.  Please pay attention!!  Trailers will be backstageUnload, dress in full uniform, warm up.

We step off at 4:50 PM.  We will march from Small World to the front by “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.”  Once we are finished, we load instruments and change back into street clothes.  Everyone needs to help load stuff back onto the trailers. 

6:00 PM  – We should be released back into Disneyland

12:00 AM – Disneyland closes – You must be at the buses for us to depart. If you are leaving early, I need a note from a parent before we leave.  We need to know where you are!
1:00 AM – Arrive at MHS – Please have your parents pick you up!
