Friday 12/9 – LYNWOOD CHRISTMAS PARADE
1 – Outside on the track with Angel Medley and the March – load the trailer
5:45 PM – Arrive to change into full uniform for the Lynwood Parade
6:30 PM – Depart Mayfair
Approximately 10:00 or later – Return to Mayfair (we are not staying for awards)

Parking Info: Street parking is available in the neighborhood. There are street blockages but you should be able to find something if you enter from Imperial or Fernwood.
Viewing Info: Bring chairs. Normally I would recommend viewing at or just past the judges stand (Google Map link here) but this parade is a little different. It gets very crowded there and disbanding happens right after the judges. If you go a little before the judges’ stand (between Hulme and Ernestine) you won’t see much action because that is the holding area where they stop everyone before the judges but you will be able to hear the MC and you’ll see their step-off. We are the last band/guard in the parade. We will NOT be staying for awards. This parade tends to run long. If you don’t care about hearing the MC, you may want to watch from near the beginning of the route (around Linden) and leave after Santa comes through.
My Personal Tip: Bring some cash for the street dog and champurrado vendors 😉
