Dear Parents: 

This is to invite you to our upcoming Pre-Festival Concert here at Mayfair High School on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 in the MPB. 

This concert is a preview of all the performing groups that will be playing in the SCSBOA (Southern California School Band and Orchestra) Festival on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. That performance will be FREE and in the MHS Gym. 

The pre-festival concert has each group perform their selections and then receive an onstage clinic from outstanding music teacher, Mr. Doug Nordquist. 

Admission to the pre-festival concert is $5.00 for students and adults; 5 and under are free. 

The schedule is as follows: 

6:00 PM — Wind Ensemble 

6:30 — Beginning Strings 

7:00 — Junior Band 

7:30 — Advanced Strings 

8:00 — Symphonic Band
