Thank you for submitting nominations for next year’s Board. The election will take place on Tuesday, April 18th at 7pm. All boosters who have paid their $10 annual fee have a family membership which entitles them to two votes.

At the meeting we will be taking nominations from the floor for all positions regardless of the list below (per bylaws IX.6). The following nominees have accepted their nominations:

• President: Minisa Volden (Makowa Enriquez’s mom)
• 1st Vice President: Thavy Thong (Katelynn Tarango’s mom)
• 2nd Vice President: Erynn Perez (Ronin Perez’s mom)
• Treasurer: Erynn Perez (Ronin Perez’s mom)
• Financial Secretary: open for nominations
• Recording Secretary: Katelyn VandeBrake (Devan Davis’ mom)
• Corresponding Secretary: Maryanne LaPinta (incoming student Nick LaPinta’s mom)

Nominations are not closed until the election takes place. Therefore, if you would like to be more involved or know of someone that would be a great addition to our Board, please contact mmmc.communications@gmail.com.

In the case of nominations for more than one position, the election will proceed and if the nominee wins more than office, they will choose which office they want to keep (per Robert’s Rules of Order).

The following Board positions will be appointed by the incoming President: Parliamentarian and Liaisons for Color Guard, Percussion and Orchestra. The incoming President will also select Committee Chairpersons such as Uniforms, Ways & Means, and Equipment Transportation. Committee chairpersons are not Board positions; however, they may be called upon at the discretion of the Board President to attend Board meetings and perform duties as necessary.
