Jazz Band & Orchestra Perform at Fuddruckers Fundraiser
Palos Verdes Christmas Parade

Monday – Mr. Philips will not be here today.

1 – Sectionals on the parade march and “Angel Medley”
Lunch – Testing on “Angel Medley” memorization all week
7 – No 7th Period today

Tuesday – Pick up apple pre-orders.
1 – Inside with Parade March and Angel Medley
Lunch – Testing on “Angel Medley” memorization all week

Wednesday – Don’t forget water jugs if needed
1 – Inside as a concert band!
Lunch – Testing on “Angel Medley” memorization all week
7 – Full parade band practice on back basketball court until 4:00 PM – We have to make the block 7 across

Thursday –
1 – Inside as a concert band
Lunch – Testing on “Angel Medley” memorization all week
6:00 – 8:00 – Jazz Band and Orchestra performs at Fuddruckers Restaurant (On Clark Ave across from post office) – Please grab a flyer and bring it with you or download and print below. Fundraiser hours are 11:00-9:00.

Friday –
1 – Outside with parade block

Saturday – Palos Verdes Christmas Parade – Download parade map below.
3:45 PM – Arrive at MHS having eaten dinner – you can bring money to eat after the parade. There are eateries around the shopping center to eat. Black shoes, black socks and gloves as we are back in band uniforms. Wear a band shirt. Bring warm clothes to wear after the parade.
4:00 – Depart MHS to (Crenshaw and Silver Spur Road). Spectators can find public parking along Indian Peak Rd.
6:00 – Parade begins – We will be the last band in the parade
8:30 – Awards
10:00 – Arrive at MHS

COMING UP:
December
12 – Winter Concert – 7:00 PM
20 – 1:00 PM-9:00 PM – Play Live Nation fundraiser
20 – 4:00 – 8:00 PM – Caroling around Lakewood/Bellflower – Band plays carols around the neighborhood. Alumni are welcome to play too!
21 – Tuba Christmas (also on facebook)– Tuba/baritone play carols with 300 other tuba players – Orange County Fairgrounds – Performance time is noon (rehearse at 9:00 AM, registration starts at 7:30 AM, $10)
22 – Christmas Musical – MHS Orchestra with Christ Presbyterian Church – 6:00 PM – Free Admission

January
17 – Disneyland Performance – All Day
